I have to agree with you m8 as he is a genius but he is also a thief. He steals ideas from old spaghetti westerns and adds his own flare. Agrred he is a talent.
I like Luc besson personally aswell for LEON and The 5th element.
Also though Steven Spielberg cannot ever be forgotten. This man is a rock in the movie industry and never fails to wow audiences with his visions. For example. Even though Saving Private Ryan made it look like the Americans were the only guys in WW2 it is probably the most brutally realistic war movie ever made.
Hes made countless movies that have excelled. Maybe not movies to everyones tastes but he certainly has a skill..

Jean-Pierre Jeunet. Whats he done Christian? Ignore Alien Resurrection coz it's cack, he made Delicatessen, Amelie, City of Lost Children and A Very Long Engagement. It's his style I really like, very deep green. And he's a bit weird, but that's European films for you, lol

It may not win any Oscars but films that do are usually crap anyway. And please don't remind me about Jersey Girl, I'm still trying to get the taste of cheese out of my mouth

Kubrick and Spielberg they rulez and also Peter Jackson I agree with the first two but I kinda got bored of Peter Jackson when he made Heavenly Creatures, he lost that low budget approach that made his early work so appealing and became a massive Hollywood director. I respect the achievem, ents he made with LOTR but not really my kind of films
