waiting in the tunnel to show my boarding pass and then get on the plane to Oudenaarde, we were asked to go and sit back in the lounge for 10mins. When they called for us again we boarded the aircraft to be met by one of the air stewards who informed us that there was a deportee on the airplane and if we heard any strange noises, not to be alarmed. So as i walked from the front of the plane to my seat in the middle, i heard someone shouting "let me out, NO NOOOOOOOOOO" etc and i thought it was comming from underneath us or in the cargo hold but didnt notice where.
Things went quiet then the doors closed and it started again "NO NOOOO AAAAAAAAARGH!!!!! LET ME OFF!!!!"
I turned round to see a pair of legs hanging over the edge of the back seats and thrashing around and 3 quite big air marshalls sitting on what looked to be an african man.
Now im not the best flyer at the best of times and it being quite windy weather i was nervous enough, and knowing there was a guy sitting at the back of the airplane that really didnt want to leave Britain and would quite possibly try and stop it leaving made me feel slightly sick.
"can i get you anything sir?" "yeh a large whiskey and hold the ice"
He contnued to struggle with the 3 air marshalls for the first 10mins of the flight then it went quiet so the ipod was turned on LOUD and i sat there hoping that we would get to belgium safely, which we obviously did, the airstewards told us quietly that we would have priority over other aircraft waiting to land, which when we touched down was a relief, then as we got off the aircraft and into a bus on the runway i watched as 6 more marshalls got onto the plane.
Im not normally nervous when flying, only in bad weather, but the added thought of someone at the back of the aircraft being sat on by three air marshalls, who would stop at nothing to get off the aircraft, made my arse twitch slightly.
Wonder what suprises ill encouter tonight on the flight back?
