Anyone played/playing this game? Looks pretty cool from the website. I played Earth and Beyond when it was around and had a blast. Hoping it's similar.

yeah i have, i found 15 days free trial wasn't enough to enjoy it completely, it's an indepth game.

also, i think i've come to realize that mmorgps just aint for me, i don't have the attention span, a good couple of rounds on cod4 and i'm happy i think. mind u that game made me smash my keyboard last night, thought i was past those days lol.

Yeah, after reading some of the forums and more on the eve site, it looks like this game could go both ways.

Been playing the demo and it seems pretty boring. I'm sure once you get in a guild and have some massive warship it could be fun, but otherwise you just fly around from point a to b. Everything is point and click and it uses an @$$load of menus and dropdowns to do everything.

The graphics are pretty decent though.

Actually sat down and played this for a good 4 hours last night and ended up having a blast. Once you get the controls and menu system down it's a lot of fun.

Ended up killing a ton of npc pirates and getting some decent loot. Got blown up once as well. Still not sure if I want to pay another monthly fee for it, but it's definitely possibility.

Yeah, but unlike WoW all software and upgrades are free.

i play eve very good game takes alot to get into it.takes ages to train your char. it cost £12 per character and you can up to 3 on one account and have as many accounts as you want the more you have the more you pay.

the biggest thing is the training time and doing missions to make your money
