Nice video, I have this game installed but I never got into it.
Its really boring at the start but looks like it might be worth playing. I think I will give it a try one day.

To be honest i sort of just stock piled different guns and ammo around the game before i started as playing it for the 3rd time i know what kills well and what guns are crap , the gun i got here i thinks the best in the game but theres one other witch i loved as well . try and fit it in to next video but its a mad rush from now on as no bar or man to speak to .
Only getting 35 fps maxed on vista arr but smooth and the odd load stutter but got them with xp .

Aparently games made for DX10 are supposed to run more effeciently under DX10 than DX9. I have tried Crysis at 1680x1050 on High settings (not very high) running on both Vista and XP, and under Vista there was a vast improvement, but when i switched to Very high settings only selectable under Vista and DX10, my frames dropped to around 20fps from 50fps on High settings.
Crysis looked like it was running with Anti-Aliasing on when running Very high, something which i know my card can struggle with due to only having 512mb of ram. When i checked the settings AA was off which i couldnt understand.

My point is that even though games that are optomised for DX10, are supposed to run better than when compared to the same games running under DX9, the extra eye candy seems to drop the frames to much, well it does on my machine. Is it really worth it right now at this moment in time?

I will be switching over to Vista eventually, but the pros dont outweigh the cons just yet for me.

Nice video Pie. I tried this before but like MinD said i was bored after around 30mins but having seen your vid i'll stick at it a bit more.

At times it dose goto 60 ish but this game dose demand good hardware big open landscaped with lots going on .
To be honest you need to at least get to the bar before the game gets going as thats when you work out there are a few different factions in the game . All i will say is don't shoot anyone in duty as then your screwed . Ive taken out the bar site before but it screws the game .
Just got to the part were i go woooo will get video up pos tonight .

As they say the shit has hit the fan now ...


ps i play no game above 1280 x 1024 and know my card dont kick in till higher res from all the reviews i read at time .

Nice. This looks interesting, got any tips on how to begin this game? Where is all the usefull candy?

Ill point out some tips at weekend guns are not good at start of game they aim like crap choose one type of ammo and yous that type of gun as you cant carry loads of stuff .

This is a spoiler as its one of the endings from the game think there are 5 if you get this one go find one of the others as a lot more to shoot at after this .

Ok the start of game my tip is be careful as you die easy and the guns are not great ,
choose one type of ammo so your not carting a load of crap around with you . Check all dead as they open the markers to find things and you can take there stuff . run past dogs don't waste ammo as there are loads of them . scout the camps for boxes . Choose storage points for you nobody takes so its ok to store guns ammo and whatever you find . moneys not that important but dose mean you can buy ammo at start .

When you get to the bar go out back and turn right don't go straight as your been told take out the army camp first as then you can plunder it for some really good guns . (silver bullets save brown for later you start with green ish)









have fun but don't kill anyone in duty not good .

I really liked that game too but i couldn't continue at a point and i gave up.
I was running for a sarcophagus or something, i had a timelimit to pass. Radiation was killing me all the time. I try to go at that point again with more protection, i had a good suit but no vodka, by starting from a previous point but radiation was killing me all the time, even it wasnt so deadly when i was playing at that point for the first time.
I would like a nice hint and finally complete this game:)

Ok not sure were you were at exactly but there are one or two points were you die alot without medical help so to speak . If your at the research be you have to get the head thingy by doing the job for the scientists at the beginning of that bit if not you cant get in at all .

me thinks you are further on if so the type of suit makes a big difference . A duty armor one probably the best as long as its one with the bubble head (chem suit) . Carry loads of these as there way better and lighter than vodka and don't make you drunk .

carry yellow med-kits as there the best and have radiation protect built in . try to save just before the crap starts , and remember you can go back to the other parts of the game at almost any point in the game bar right at the end as stairs break . If you know the name of the part your at i maybe able to be more helpful but have uninsulated and memory's not my best point hehe .

aaa rightydoky dead easy the easiest way is to do what i did in the video run along the pipes when the time starts keep going till you see the doors once in the room head to the left side thats were the auto save is next bits a bugger as loads of men and you cant return . theres no were to sell after that so only take stuff you really want i was so prepared for that bit as had 1500 shells as had the armor suit but used loads of the med things a duty or the green armed med suit are best . can buy back at bar from duty bloke if your allowed in there base . if you decide to go back go through army base and stock up . some of the reloads are nuts so have gun ready but its not to bad .
try and avoid the chopper . (really would try and have 500 ammo there so you don't have to look at the dead and just zoom through) took me 6 goes to get that video in one .
the next bits close to the end well some of them think theres 7 now from looking at youtube.

ps remove all the stones from your body as they irradiate you
