it is a great game but shame this weekend is a bad time to try it as everyone is pyros trying for the acevements was same with the medics a while back but well worth a try

Beginning today gamers may find details of "The Heavy" Update being disclosed via steamgames.com/tf2/heavy/. The site will reveal new information and screenshots each day, as well as a special installment to the "Meet the Team" series of video shorts.

"The Heavy" update is the largest update to Team Fortress 2 since it was first released as part of The Orange Box last October. In addition to offering new unlockable weapons, achievements, "The Heavy" update also includes a brand new gameplay mode and a number of new maps.
The rollout culminates next Tuesday, August 19 when the update will be made available to all owners of Team Fortress 2.

shame i used to realy like this game when it firdt came out but since they have added the extra acievements it has gone down hill the pyro update was the worst everyone was a pyro on every server trying to unlock new weapons same with medic when the achevements came out and i bet it will be the same with heavys realy they need to bring out achievements for every class at the same time other wise everyone want to unlock the new weapons and everyone is the same class makes the game boring pyro became way to powerful after the update i was always soldier but now with pyro blowback weapon they just shoot rockrets back at you shame cos it was a nice game when it first came out

Well yes i do see were your coming from but the piro was the weakest in the group well unless you get close i just got my second piro upgrade last night as not played in months but always was a piro . Once you get the upgraded burner you lose the air burst .
The medics are way over powered unless i play as one but that just could be me ,
You are right that when the prks for the heave come everyone will go heavy but some servers have class limits on so if you find them servers its not bad , Me I'm happy playing spy scout or piro still get a buzz for a bat kill .

You can pre-load the game as just got spoon to give it a try .
Some will like some will hate but it is a great game (don't listen to Lu) .
