love the trailer! looks great even tho you don't get to see much... I aint played any of the others so I dont know the story line. I'm assuming you know??? Tell me a little. Fallout and Fallout 2 are isometric RPGs based in a futuristic post apocolyptic world. It's sort of a campy, 50's vision of the future. The combat is turn based, using action points, but the rest is real time. It's pretty gritty and has a dark, tongue-in-cheek type humor. Mutant moles, scorpions, and people. Roving bands of bandits. Dilapidated townships, quests, etc. There's actually quite an uproar among the hardcore Fallout fans as they all seem to think Bethesda is going to ruin the franchise. It's hard to filter through all the whining and bit**ing in the Bethesda forums, but they seem to want another isometric game, whereas Fallout 3 is going to be similar to Resident Evil 4 in play style. I think this would be a bit of a waste on such a powerful system personally. But less graphics could also mean an enormous realtime world to explore, which could be really cool too.

Well, Bethesda is good about making PC ports, so I'd be more surprised if they don't for Fallout 3. In the meantime, you can usually pick up the first two for less than $10, which I think is about 7 pounds. Definitely worth the cost. I think. But then, my math be off on that one.
