dont get me wrong there are movies where they can make the whole movie better...for example HEaven on Earth bbut in most movies it just gets stupid then..

Ok then I hate CGI. Or special effects that look really false.
As an example. I guess you have all seen Blade 2??
Well luke Goss who plays the bad dude, hes a kinda hybrid vampire. To make the special effects like they dis. They used make up, prosthetics ( Models ) and abit of cgi to clean it up. I think the reapers look great.
Where in a george Lucas movie. Its mostly CGI. Look at attack of the clones. All the clones are CGI and it looks that false I cannot take it seriously.
I hate also Hollywood movies like Armageddon, Pearl Harbour and crap like that. Huge budget but no soul.

I agree with the f**king annoying kids... ruin tons of movies... u cant take it serious anymore.. the american heroe-soldier crap is also gay.. every man that has been in the military knows that this is just crap.. LOL... well the american ppl believe it, and thats the main part that has to i guess..[removed]
i also dont like it/hate, when movies are to short ( 85 minutes and that kinda crap) no intro and a f**ked up ending.. lol

Lee we have a few American members here. Please try and be a little more polite and less of the bad language. Lucky I have a filter.
PS: I agree with you.. ( I edited one part )

I hate it when the heroes get beaten up , shot , put on fire, thrown of a building, ... and still manage to run around like nothing happened.

CGI!!!!!!! While people like James Cameron seem to be compitent with it, others like Lucas need a slap round the head!

Totally agree. ILM are supposed to excell yet lesser companies are making better looking, more realistic effects.
ILM seem to do ok in other movies except STARWARS. Lets not even go into the STARWARS didnt even need any effects as the 1st 3 are good enough and it was the story and character development that attracted fans not how it looked..

I think the 80's prosthetic effetcs in movies like Hellriaser, Re-animator and The Thing are far more realistic. I also find the idea of a guy baking a severed head in his mum's oven or trying out fake blood on his girlfriend far more appealing than someone drawing on a computer. I understand that CGI is more complex than that, I just don't dig it!

Yeah, i think it kinda explains why the acting is so bad in those kind of movies. How can you act sincerely to a green screen? Surely you need to see who you're acting against?

predictability.........I hate it when you just know that that person is gonna die/hurt themselves with no help/run off into spooky woods, generally down to the character being too dumb or unaware to realise their impending doom. Come on....if we can plainly see the danger, surely they would too??
If a film cant show me a surprise or something I didnt expect, I dont think it was worth watching.
