I am very surprised, but a lot of people have taken it upon themselves to start modding files and a lot of people have find veryu interesting stuff, take a look the the modding section


theres still hope for the game, give it time and i think we might have a game after all.

also after reading i have noticed people are finding out how to work the chat functions.

I'd say the actual gameplay is probably alright. but it lacks many important functions. give it a couple of patchs and then see. I reckon i'd probs just get it via other ways and wait for patches. buying it would certainly be a waste of money.

i'd agree. which is a shame, but at least there are people out there willing to make something of this failure. I'm saying that tgj should have anything to do with it because i believe we might have found hope in cod4 but it's wise to keep upto date on the modding community. I'd say we are gonna see some very interesting things coming our way in the next couple of months.

I'd also say... that some modders are happy of such a faliure as it really gives them something to get their teeth into. Every modder that makes something good is going to get prised and well known for it. so that surely is a reason for people to do it.

I reckon cauldron knew the modding community where gonna start ripping it apart. there are signs of this in the code already(from what i read)

Well modders or not, they basically need to make a complete new game based on the same engine. I did not find one thing I liked in this game to be honest, not one single thing.
It's pretty sad if you ask me, now when someone mention SOF everyone will think about how horrible SOF3 is and not look at the good old SOF2 and remember the good days of pure run and gun.
