Yeah it's horrible I remember Pug. If you got speakers on at the same time then that's the problem. Bah I hate when PC's just dont work

for some reason my recording seetings are all blank and faded out, i checked properties and they are all selected so theres no reason why they should not work right.

Did you plug it in on the front or the back of your PC? Plug it in on the back side, if it doesnt work then just poor a few litres/gallons or whatever you got in Wales on your PC and put it on fire

Noise suppression? It will usually help. Also it depends on the person on the other end of the line. If HE has speakers and a mic, you hear yourself because his mic is registering the sound of his speakers. Ask him to put on a headset.
I actually think that scenario to be extremely likely. Try making a sound recording with your mic. If everything is ok, then I was probably right.

thats the thing. it's perfect when i record. but when i try TS on that test thing, then it messes up. jst installed new drivers n stuff so i'll try that.

Ok... So your mic is not on the hardware list?
Then install it for pity's sake...
AND here is confusing part:
Say you are you and I am me.
You talk into YOUR mic. I recive it in MY speakers. The sound from my speakers gets to my mic The sound gets from my mic back to your headphones. ERGO: you hear your own voice.

So my point is that your problem is caused by other buggers out there and not by your hard or software.
