When I install new drivers, does it matter if I remove the old one?
If so, how do I do it?

Go to control panel and select add/remove programs. Figure out what card you have whether its Nvidea or ATI. Then find the Display drivers in the add/remove program list.
Remove them. Reboot PC. Install new ones. Just make sure that the drivers are compatible with your card as its an old card isnt it?
