lego and me came on the idea of making an ranking system for sof2  but dont know enough of code so if anybody knows how to make such things in code, i would be glad this is an exemple that ppl used for COD 2 , its a converted version of CODuo callofduty.filefront.com/file/Army_Ranking_System;57574 |

you could use PHP i guess.. but it wouldn't be easy. Would take a lot of planned work. You need to consider if its actually worth ur time doing it for sof2. Maybe a more up to date game, or include support for both.

i got confused when u said ranking system.... i was actually thinking along the lines of a ranking system outside of the game. so based in a browser. basically like some that already exsist.... but a little more indepth. with name, score, ping, medals,(if any) etc etc.

naah i wanne create something like bf thing, when yur ingame and you have a certain amount of killz or mvp points, you get higher rank

The way BF2 works is EA master server has a ranking system. Sites that make BF2/BF2142 stats pages use a script that takes off pid numbers ( account details ) and relays them onto an individual page ,generated for each players. There is no ranking system in SOF2 . So other than designing a script to read server stats from every server thats running ( which you will need rcon access to serverlog file ) then combining them into one source then you have no chance in my opinion. /4000  |

Yeah I like the idea, but I'm scared that everyone will camp like hell to get their stats and rank up lol. Lol Helicon, I'm struggling with catching up 2cool's postcount, he's never here but I still dont get any closer.  |

haha, yeah i know. I never see him yet his post count is super high! whats up there.
And yeah, i think creating a a web based system will be pretty easy with the right knowledge... but the effort to do it would be pointless.

in gold there actually was a ranking system, but that website died.
It had something to do with ure name being recognised by the master server, and ure kills and death were roceored
