LOL! Thanx, but I'm kinda' beyond "a little help from my friends"... Anyways, pointless as it may be, I have not given up on life... Not completely, anyways. You know, I realized that dying is just as pointless as living... And death being an inevitable result of life, I will get there sooner or later... So I'm going down the hard way Let my cigarettes kill me EDIT: forgot to include a quote where I'm advised to ask M.J. for help with my life...

Emo is also a term for the type of "kids" that listen to Emo-esque music. Which from what I understand is whiny indie rock. But my knowledge of Emo culture is pretty weak. There is a local band here named the f**kemos. Meaning both the bar and the "movement"

Yeah, I heard it got something to do with the indie rock/pop too, but as you said, my knowledge of Emo culture is pretty weak.
I see lot's of emo's in school so I guess it's pretty popular

Just to defend those kids a bit, not all emo/rock is whiny...
A good example is "The Ghost of You" by My Chemical Romance. It is an emo-song, but it\s actually quite likeable. As are many songs by Something Corporate (Like Only Ashes) and Simple Plan (Although they are somewhat whiney)
Disclaimer: I'm a Death Metalist. So yes, I can be impartial about the EMO-rock.
