I have finished downloading. It took under an hour on the EA downloader.

gamespot is now taking 14 hours to complate???

Pug where does it put it as it asked for no download location. Also I looked through the EA downloader and theres no downloaded game section etc. So this is kinda like steam?? You can only operate the game with EA downloader installed??

Reason I say this is. If you reinstall EA downloader ( I tested ) It says 'You may not be able to play games that you have downloaded'

ea sould work. it just downloads it n then gives u an install link. simple the file is somewhere in the EA downloader folder i guess.

I used gamers hell under 2 hours to get . you may come across this problem easy to fix just drop file in , i did .

Well when you load it up there are loads of movies and a tutorial vid. We dont wanna see these. So after abit of looking around the folders I figured out how to stop them.

Program Files/Electronic Arts/Battlefield 2142 demo/Mods/Bf1242/Movies

Delete all 5 in there. Then when BF2142 Demo loads it goes straight to the login page. This will work with the full game aswell.

When I tried to be .04 it says your name contains invalid text.

I have noticed something though. It isnt the strain on your PC like BF2 was. The BF2 demo took like 5 mins after closing it down before your PC is usuable. Well seems they fixed that at least. Looks very nice the game if you ask me.

Me and Lu are known as Ludocypers and I'm MrPieuk I'm the nut that dies alot yay . As strange as it is i like this more than bf2 may be because i can fly things now but its just fun yay .
I'm ordering this for def now as until Quakewars / Crysis and Team Fortress 2 (witch looks so nice) i can see me playing it quite a bit .

Seems they are working on finding the reason why we get random disconnections from the EA Server.

Happened to me 3 times lastnight.
